Drift target
Tempo bends playback rate (pitch moves too). Length changes the loop's duration only. Start creeps the read position through the buffer — tape-loop style.
Drift
Size of the deviation, as a % of the loop per cycle. 0.4% is the classic slow phase; above 2% is audible warping.
Boundary
How far a part may wander from the grid before its drift reverses, so it eventually comes home. At 50% it is set free and never turns back. In Orbit mode this is the orbit radius instead.
Offset
A fixed head start, in % of the loop. Fluctuate replaces it with a slow sine wobble at the given rate and depth.
Coupling
Only in Converge / Diverge. How hard parts are pulled toward, or pushed away from, the shared grid.
Quantise
Snaps each loop's audible onset toward the grid without touching the underlying drift, so parts slide but keep landing on beats.
Capture
Watches the phase spread. When parts lock tighter than the threshold for long enough, the last few seconds are written to a WAV, pre-roll included.
Tape delay
Ping-pong pair with saturation and a filtered feedback path. Time locks to a division of the bar — dotted stretches it by half again, triplet fits three where two would go — so repeats reinforce the grid the loops are drifting against. Free hands over to the millisecond slider. Changing the time glides rather than jumps, which is where the pitch smear comes from.
Wow / Drive
Wow adds slow and fast pitch wobble to the delay line. Drive is the tape saturation that builds up over successive repeats.
Room
Convolution against a generated impulse, normalised to constant energy so changing size changes the space without changing the level. Damping both darkens the impulse and closes down the wet return, from wide open to around 1.8kHz. The delay is routed in too, so long repeats bloom.
Export
Records the live master, post-effects, for a set number of bars or seconds. With fade at end it triggers the stop fade when the body finishes and keeps recording through it.
Stochastic
Rolls the dice once per bar during playback. On a hit it keeps a clip of random length from the seconds just gone. Bias skews the odds toward moments of tight lock, or of fast movement — set it to Nothing for a flat roll.
